THE STORY BEHIND THE STUDIO

Before I fell in love with the rhythm of the trail, my husband would ask, "Want to go camping?" And, after having lived in Philadelphia and Houston, I would look around at our surroundings in the 4th largest city in New Hampshire and say, "We are camping!"

But the wilderness has a way of changing your perspective. It's hard for me to convey in words the healing and hope that I feel in the forest. And so I paint.

But I'm a pragmatic person, and so when I learned that I could make a living as a Surface Pattern designer, it just made so much sense for me. And that is how Lisa's Paint Studio was born.

My origin story is still being written. I'm rebuilding the life I was made for.
