Inspired by New England’s Wild Places
Every piece begins outdoors. From quiet morning kayak paddles across Lake Winnipesaukee and Chocorua Lake to hikes along the secluded cascades of the White Mountain National Forest, my studio practice is directly inspired by the flora, fauna, and changing seasonal light of the Northeast. I capture the atmosphere of these wild places using traditional oil and acrylic paints on cradled wood panels and stretched canvases, layering color and texture to bring the serene energy of nature indoors.
