Learning to dance in the rain

In my last blog post, I talked about getting back to basics and this past weekend that is exactly what I did.
Hubby and I went tent camping in the White Mountains. The first night it rained. Drifting to sleep, it was cold but cozy. Our tent kept us nice and dry.
Not going camping was never an option. We never talked about going home. We decided we were going to camp and prayed the tent didn't leak!
Life is all about learning to dance in the rain. How can I make the best of this unpreferred reality? I am grateful for the opportunity to do whatever it is that I'm doing. Approach every situation with a heart of gratitude. Control what you can control and give the rest to God.
By the way, rain is capable of making something ordinary into something remarkable. Consider how the morning sun reflects in dewy grass making it sparkle. You just have to pay attention.
